We all know that Mark Zuckerberg and his friends
have been under fire these past few days, one which includes taking money from
con artists to promote scams in its news feeds. It also announced that users can now
file complaints about businesses they’ve had a problem with, and purchased
from, after clicking on one of their ads. If enough people complain, the
company may lose advertising privileges. Facebook new policy includes that the
following are prohibited;
1. Ads promoting the brandishing of firearms.
2. Blogs or groups connecting people with weapon
related, as long as the service doesn’t lead to the sale of these products.
3. Safety courses for firearm training or license, and
books and videos about fire arms.
4. Plastic guns, swords or toy weapons.
5. Paint, coatings or wraps for weapons and magazines.
6. Firearms, including firearm parts , ammunition,
paintball guns and bb guns.
7. Firearms silencers or suppressors.
8. Weapons of any kind, including pepper spray, non-
culinary knives, blades, spears, tasers, nun chucks, batons or weapons intended
for self-defense.
9. Fireworks and explosives.
The section
of policy must be set to 18 years and over not for younger views;
10. Mounted flashlights for firearms .
11. Scopes and sights for firearms.
12. Hunting , self – defense, and military clothing and
gear such as shooting targets and clay throwers.
13. Holsters and belt accessories.
14. Gun safe, mounts including bipods, gun cases and
slings.
15. Equipment and protective clothing.
