The Real Slay Queens







The term “slaying” “slay queen” “slay mama” “slay queen” has been on trend for a very long time now. The term gets must people confused. Facebook and instagram is seen as the storehouse of most slay queens because every post is hash-tagged. Google defines them as young and naive girls who do not just date broke men, they spend hours on social media showing off things they don't even own. They just want to look rich and intimate naive girls with their dress sense, so they have to “slay”.


Sandra my street mate, just got newly acquainted with the term slaying and since then the street is almost half dead because she will slay to the extent that the ground she walks on are affected, her makeup is on fleek, her clothes are either vouis luttion’s, Gucci, Channels, Dolce and Gabana’s…, her shape is just accurate as it fits her wears (maybe plastic or real), she is the life of the party she sucks at being a smart girl, visit her social media handles? Her pictures will intoxicate your timeline with the right angles she presents. She struggles to meet up with this ake lifestyle because this isn’t her. Now Sandra is beautiful outwardly alright! But does she slay mentally?

Now the idea to slay isn’t bad at all, it is a beautiful thing to dress beautifully and the context “Slay” .The real definition of a slay queen is someone who slays in everything concerning life. They slay smartly, beautifully, mentally, educationally etc. They are killing it in all ramification, this queens are the MVP no-one outstands her.


Dear youth moments readers, did you read about the slay queen who borrowed 500k from a close friend and was nit able to pay? Now, that not the queen. For a growing up child to look beautiful outside is just a faction of beauty, this youths needs to know the beauty of their inward self. You can be the key to creating a real queen please do help them prepare the palace.

How I lost my Weight

I have always being a chubby girl, not from birth but immediately after high school because I am a foodie and then after high school examination what next, admission into college wasn’t coming fast as I expected, mum won’t love to see me outside so I had always stay indoors eating up any thing similar to food and that was how I moved into being chubby. Well, mum loved it because my clothes looked great on me and for me, I didn’t care because I wasn’t plus-size and food is amazing.
